Plus moving just sold our house with all this stress don't want to deal with bs. Have dropped price to basically giving it away it's 98% DONE. NOT PATINA THIS IS A FAUXTINA BUILD MEANING IT WAS STRIPPED TO BARE METAL CAB A N D BED Pulled OFF FRAME ALL BODYWORK DONE AND ONLY ORIG PATINA PAINT IS BED SIDES. ZERO RUST. IF YOU WANTED A PATINA 1960-66 TRUCK THIS IS IT. BRAND NEW EVERYTHING ONLY NEED FEW THINGS TO BE 100% RUNS DRIVE DAILY. TAKE this truck to drive to shows or daily that has all bodywork done on it been stripped to bare metal and isnt a rust box and is 98% done here you go. So here we got a 1966 chevy custom cab longbed fleetside pickup. $11500 firm I've been offered 18k few months ago but wasn't ready OK let's start off it's not just bagged and full of rust like the rest. The whole cab was stripped to bare metal and any little rust spots professionally repaired, metal etched self leveling seam sealer around drip rails 3m before priming and blocking out any lil dings then I fuaxtina paint matched the cab to the AZ orig paint bed I bought complete from guy in AZ. When I started project my plan was to paint it black. But got into pass bedside and previous owner hacked it full of bondo so I found all og baby blue bed and tailgate in AZ cheaper than bed side. So figured hey baby blue patina looks legit plus I've never tried to do fauxtina paint job. Been doing body and paint my whole life so here we are. Looks better than most fauxtina where it looks like they dug the da sander into it everywhere. Anyway had chrome bumper and grill so I ditched that bought new bumper and NOS grill have pics of it in 1970s box chevrolet Mich. So not china wavy light pos. Truck was orig v8 from factory as well as a/c. It's got a 1970 corvette motor with new water pump ,gas pump,high output alt,aluminum radiator, optima redtop battery 1yr old, edelbrock dual quad air gap endurashine intake w/ two 500cmf edelbrocks surprisingly its not horrible on gas go figure. All under hood core support wheel wells all front suspension stripped to bare metal and shot chassis black. All suspension was redone with new old stock chevy parts or nos Moog no china parts Lca cupped for slam bags 1/2 lines F&B rear was notched welded and bolted. Truck has 2 viair compressors and 8 smc 1/2in brass valves made in Japan. Two tanks 4 FAMS switches pops up quick moves really fast when air is all full to brimm. I installed tilt column and webasto spoiler sunroof. Not my choice previous owner had crank up 70s aluminum one in there. New one has cover on inside don't leak a drop been in all this rain we had this year drove it everyday nothing. Roof is candy cobalt with ghost patterns as well as dash with roses design. Runs drives great has brandnew co*ker wide white wall bias ply tires with powdercoated wheels new brakes all around. New window felts,rubbers and rear glass,new taillights & bezels ,stainless chains and trunions,new outside door handles new arm rest all inside painted blue dark blue blk. Candy. Truck is 4spd od manual sticks hint. Has posi rear end 411 gears. Truck only needs couple things to be done. This is my list of what I was going to do. Windshield and rubber. Has Crack but was repaired long ago. I had to trim back rubber so white paint would be behind and not have line later. Bed strips wood is new but painted candy. Needs heater coil switch. Has new core. A/C is complete was charged when I bought it. But to get it working would be about $500 for condensor dryer ect hoses. And was going to replace front markers and bezels don't need it but everything else is replaced. I've got a factory tach cluster that I've been waiting to install that's all restored, also have the 66 1yr custom cab steering wheel that ill put on. Have power window kit ill throw in.Need to sell now. I just bought my dream car and someone hit and run it!This is a bad ass ,there is zero rust. First real offer takes it not going any lower If youve Been looking for bad ass patina truck that's bagged ready to hit the shows. Here you go I've never taken it to any shows I just drive it daily. If it doesn't sell in few days I'll take it off and rent a booth and shoot it and then list on bat and price will double won't beable to sell to anyone after listing on bat it's exclusive hurry sunday it gets changed to unlisted and listed online auction you'll regret not scooping this up. I've done all haggling lowballing negotiations for us. 10500 no less come drive this home and brag how cheap you stole it
