As with everything in life, wedding dress trends come and go. In 2022, we saw square necklines, a veil comeback, and oversized ruffles. 2023 has its own noticeable trends when it comes to wedding dresses. Little White Dress, located in Denver, Colorado, provides a glimpse into what brides will look for when wedding dress shopping this year.

1. Simple & Sophisticated

Simply chic white dresses with minimal detail are making a comeback; a trend Little White Dress loves to see! There is a unique sophistication and elegance that comes with a simple white dress, and many brides are embracing that this year. Minimalistic dresses are also fun to pair with additional accessories, such as a veil, sleeves, or a bridal cape. Especially popular in 2023 will be simple wedding dresses with an open back.

2. 3-D Accents

3-D accents, especially floral accents, are becoming a popular wedding dress for many brides this year. This is a trend we saw start to take off in 2022, and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. 3-D floral dresses are everywhere in designer collections, and it’s been fun to see how each designer incorporated their own style into the trend. This trend can help brides achieve a wide range of bridal looks, from stylish ethereal to stunningly bold.

3. Pops of Color

The colorful wedding dress is more popular than ever! This was extremely apparent at this year’s Bridal Fashion Week. Off-white, pink, and light blue are just some common colors emerging in 2023 as a top wedding dress trend. A wedding dress with color is the perfect way for a fun, lively, or bold bride to make a stunning statement on their wedding day. Little White Dress loves leaning into this trend, and some of their colorful wedding dresses are the most popular choices.

4. Reception Party Dresses

Two dresses are turning out to be better than one! More and more brides are opting for two wedding dresses instead of one. Reception dresses are often sophisticated & timeless, while reception dresses are fun, sleek, and sexy. Because let’s face it, when the dance music starts playing, sometimes the bride wants to let loose and change into something that allows them to hit every move on the dance floor. Reception looks can be anything from short to long, simple or embellished, or even a jumpsuit – the more personality, the better for the outfit change.
