The small fire caused some minor damage to the engine itself and also burnt away the fabric covered control surfaces on the same wing. The damage was soon repaired and the aircraft delivered to its new owners shortly afterwards. This aircraft is now resident at Malaga airport in Spain, a long-term resident of the local fire station.
